Terms of Service

Last Updated: [Insert Date]

Welcome to Ondyne. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ondyne website, platform and related services ("Services"). By accessing or using Ondyne, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.

1. About Ondyne

Ondyne is a behavioural reflection platform designed to help individuals better understand themselves through structured reflection, behavioural science and AI-assisted insights.

Ondyne is intended to encourage self-reflection and personal development.

It is not a medical, psychological, psychiatric or therapeutic service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ondyne.

By creating an account, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • The information you provide is accurate.
  • You will keep your account secure.

3. Our Purpose

Ondyne exists to help people become more themselves through intentional reflection.

The insights generated by Ondyne are intended to encourage awareness and personal growth.

They are not statements of fact, diagnoses, predictions or guarantees.

4. AI Generated Insights

Some reflections, summaries and reports are generated using artificial intelligence.

These outputs:

  • are based solely on the information you choose to provide;
  • are intended for personal reflection only;
  • should not be considered professional advice.

AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete responses.

Users remain responsible for all personal decisions.

5. Not Medical Advice

Ondyne does not provide:

  • medical advice;
  • psychological diagnosis;
  • counselling;
  • psychotherapy;
  • psychiatric treatment;
  • crisis intervention.

If you are experiencing emotional distress, thoughts of self-harm, or a mental health crisis, please contact an appropriate healthcare professional or emergency services immediately.

6. Personal Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

  • you remain responsible for your own decisions;
  • Ondyne cannot make decisions on your behalf;
  • any actions you take after using Ondyne are entirely your own responsibility.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to our philosophy.

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We will never sell your personal reflections.

8. Data Ownership

Your reflections belong to you.

Subject to applicable law, you may:

  • request a copy of your data;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • permanently delete your account;
  • request deletion of your personal information.

9. Confidentiality

We treat your reflections with care.

However, no online platform can guarantee absolute security.

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use Ondyne unlawfully;
  • attempt to access another person's account;
  • interfere with platform security;
  • upload malicious software;
  • misuse the Services.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You agree to notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

12. Subscription, Free Trial & Auto-Renewal

The Ondyne Circle membership begins with a 30 day free trial. No payment is taken during the trial. Valid payment details are required to start the trial so that the membership can continue seamlessly when the trial ends.

At the end of the trial, your subscription automatically renews at £4.99 per month and continues to renew monthly on the same date until you cancel. We will email a reminder before the first payment.

You can cancel at any time from the Membership page in your portal (via the secure Stripe billing portal) or by emailing hello@joinondyne.com. Cancellation prevents further billing and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

13. Payments

Payments are securely processed by Stripe. Ondyne does not store your full payment card information.

14. Refunds & 14-Day Cancellation Right

Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers normally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract for a refund. This right does not apply once you have expressly consented to the digital service being supplied immediately and acknowledged that you thereby lose the right to cancel.

Because your membership starts with a 30 day free trial, you can always cancel before any payment is taken. Once a billing period has begun, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law (for example a duplicate charge or a payment taken after a valid cancellation). See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

15. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, software, designs, reports and intellectual property associated with Ondyne remain the property of Ondyne unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce or distribute our content without written permission.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ondyne shall not be liable for:

  • indirect losses;
  • consequential losses;
  • loss of profits;
  • emotional decisions;
  • personal decisions;
  • business decisions;
  • financial decisions arising from use of the Services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Ondyne during the previous twelve months.

17. Availability

We aim to provide uninterrupted access but cannot guarantee continuous availability.

Services may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, updates or unforeseen technical issues.

18. Changes to the Service

Ondyne may update, improve or discontinue features at any time.

Where practical, significant changes will be communicated in advance.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically.

Updated versions will be published on this page.

Continued use of Ondyne constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
